Jaipur  is the capital and largest city of the Indian state of Rajasthan in Northern India. It was founded on 18 November 1727 by Maharaja Jai Singh II, the ruler of Amer after whom the city is named. As of 2011, the city has a population of 6.66 million, making it the tenth most populous city in the country. Jaipur is also known as the Pink City of India.

Located at a distance of 260 km from the Indian capital New Delhi, it forms a part of the Golden Triangle tourist circuit along withAgra (240 km).[6] Jaipur is a popular tourist destination in India and serves as a gateway to other tourist destinations in Rajasthan such as Jodhpur (348 km), Jaisalmer (571 km) and Udaipur (421 km).

The Career Counseling Cell of the Jaipur University not only provides placement assistance to the students in relevant organisation but it also helps the students of the University in their career planning, preparation for selection tests, summer placement, internship and final placements. The Career Counseling Cell is working on liaising with the senior executives of reputed organisations for the development of the effective communication links with many prominent industrial and professional organizations. The Career Counseling Cell is making all out effort to match student’s career aspirations with the requirements of these organizations. Keeping in view the demand and preference of the various industries, the Cell is also looking for the development of the students. In this direction , various activities like Aptitude test, Group Discussion, Guest Lectures from corporate personalities are organised from time to time by the placement cell for the students of the University.

The Career Counseling Cell in Jaipur has nominated one Faculty Member as Placement In charge and two Students as Departmental Placement Representative from each department to assist the placement cell in the placement activities related to the Department.

Summer Placement / Internship / Final Placement Procedure

A Company wishing to take students of the University for Summer Placement/ Internship/ Final Placement is requested to mail the Response sheet to the Convener, Placement Cell , Central University of Rajasthan with regard to Final Placement/ Summer Placement .    The Company can conduct pre placement talks at the CURAJ Campus at Kishangarh during which the company can make presentation about its operations and job profile offered. The pre- placement talks can also be arranged at Jaipur, if the company desires.

Detailed Resumes of the  interested or eligible students can be dispatched to the company on request.

If the company wishes to conduct a Written test/ Preliminary Interview/ Group Discussion as part of the selection procedure, it can do so on a mutually convenient date.

Once a student receives an offer, he/she is, usually not eligible to appear in the selection process of any other company organised by the University.
