Position : Sr Portal reporting developer Educational qualification : Degree in Engineering , Master of computer Science , MCM , MCA Certification from SAP would be preferred Experience : SPECIFIC SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: PDK Java – at least 6 months experience KM Custom Development using KM API - at least one project experience or at least 6 months experience SAP NetWeaver Portal 6.0 or later version. Experience developing Java Web Dynpro applications using the NetWeaver Developer Studio Knowledgeable regarding the use of the Adaptive RFC layer and BAPI concepts Programming experience with Java and J2EE including EJB development NetWeaver Development Infrastructure Object oriented design and development Troubleshooting skills and performance tuning experience within SAP Portal Experience with SAP Analytics and Visual Composer 7.0 a plus SAP Business Warehouse and experience with the Business Explorer toolset for query development General knowledge of SAP ABAP development preferred Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server, Visual Studio 2005, C#, ASP.NET and ADO.NET a plus This is a senior level position Must requirement : Agreement to sign the commitment bond and willing to travel Duties : As perceived today and may increase from time to time · Provide technical advice, code reviews and assistance to other programmers. § With limited supervision, prepare test plans and/or detailed technical specifications from which programs will be written, they may be highly complex. § Understanding of complex interfacing strategies; Strong skills in the development of B2B and C2C interfaces. § Ability to independently design and develop comprehensive utilities, modules and applications that may integrate with multiple systems. § Possess advanced database design skills and understanding of object-oriented design. § Develop/maintain computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data and information. § Write programs that involve multiple, complex screens, interfaces, tables and outputs. § Write complex, optimized data extracts, updates and interfaces. § Understanding of complex table joins and advanced programming concepts. § Strong understanding of functional processes; ability to interactively contribute to design and functional capability of applications; work with functional specialists to ensure solution design and integrity. § Solid understanding of functional integration points, entity relationships and module flows. § Resolve questions of program intent, input data acquisition, time sharing, output requirements, coding use and modification, and inclusion of internal checks/code reviews for system integrity. § Participate in the roll out of developed applications and help ensure the on time delivery of solution. § Maintain a working knowledge of advancing technologies. Identify applicable solutions and implement with existing networks when appropriate. § Work seamlessly with all IT Teams to ensure high standard of IT support at all levels. § Maintain and develop documentation for responsible area. Prepare and provide status updates of assigned project plans and schedules. § Maintain positive relations with all employees encouraging them to suggest ways of improving IT systems. Recommend/conduct training. § Organize verbal and written ideas clearly, use appropriate business style. § Identify creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems (i.e. modification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks, elimination of non-value added processes, or complete re-engineering of processes and systems). § Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management. § Offer new ideas and suggestions for improvement.
